Promoters Bob Arum and Todd duBoef of Top Rank and Michael Koncz of MP Promotions was officially announced the Pacquiao vs Bradley will fight again on April 12 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The 30–year–old Bradley defeated Pac–man in their first meeting‚ in a controversial split decision‚ garnering criticism from many who believed the Filipino boxer had clearly won.
June 9‚ 2012 Manny Pacquio’s loss to Bradley‚ the 15 fight winning was broke during which he was recognized as one of the best pound–for–pound boxer in the world.
In the first fight‚ Pacquiao earned a reported $26 million and Bradley $5 million.
The 35–year–old Pacquiao‚ from the Philippines‚ is 55–5–2 with 38 knockouts. Pacquiao‚ the long congressional representative from the Sarangani province in the Philippines (he was reelected to a second term‚ running unopposed last year)‚ is the only fighter to win eight world titles in as many different weight divisions.
The 30–year–old Bradley‚ from California‚ is 31–0 with 12 KOs. Bradley is a two–division world champion who unified the junior welterweight titles twice during his previous four–year reign.
